[13]Forthreedaysandtwonights,thetraierborktraveledthroughtheherlands,Germany,andPoland。Thepeoplewereheldihiomightslipthroughathewood。Therewerenosanitaryfacilities。Somediedoerriblejourhesmellofhumahwasalmosturai,andtheyrockedviolentlyinthewind。Anneandherfamilywerejammedinwithsixtypeople。Fiopped。Thehalf-deadpeoplestumbledoutaethetraeFrankandherfamilyhadarrivedatAuschwitz,twenty-fivesquaremilesofgaschambers,s,andhorror。
[14]Immediately,themenandwomehosetobegassedatoed。Ayorueenwouldbegassedalongwiththesiddisabled。Theothersweretobeputtowork。OttoFrankturnedahiswifeahelasttimeoofSeptember5,1944。AlthoughOttoFrankwasfifty-five,helookedyouhatreasokilledimmediately。
[15]ThewomeheworkchoreshadtowalktotheatBirkehFrawodaughtersstayedtogether。InOctober1944EdithFraBirkenau。ButAnneandMargotwereserationcampatBergewasbitterlycold。Thewomearviingsickwithdeadlydiseases。AnneandMargothuddledtogetherinanicy-heatedbarraehegirlslookedlikefrozenlittlebirds。AschoolfriendofAnoherobecauseshebelievedthatbothofherparentsweredead。Arembling。Sheedihi。
