&ahidtheSpiritofCapitalismublishedastwoessaysin1904and1905,aercollectedtogetherin1919。Weberarguedthatitossibletostruglepreheheinsofcapitalism,butlookedontheseessaysasprovidinginsightintofactorsassociatedwiththedevelopmealismsystemanizatitoWeber,istethidideasihedevelopmentofcapitalism。Hefoundthatsocietieshaviahosewithamhlydevelopedcapitalisteilarly,ihdifferentreligions,mostsuccessfulbusinessleaderswereProtestant。
